SBL started its journey in 2002 with the slogan “Our business is to understand your business”. Today, SBL have established seven branches at New Road, Tripureshwor, Kamaladi, Pokhara, Birgunj, Damak and Biratnagar. 14000 depositors and 2500 borrowers have already joined with them.

Nepal Industrial & Commercial Bank Limited

NIC Bank commenced its operation on 21 July 1998 from Biratnagar. 49% of the shares is held by general public. NIC was the first bank to receive ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management system. All 22 branches are capable of providing real time on-line transactions through inter-connected V-Sat.

Nepal SBI Bank Limited

NSBL commenced its operation from July 7, 1993.  Only 30 % shares is held by general public.

Everest Bank Limited

EBL started its operation in 1994 which was one of the first bank to introduce Any Branch Banking System (ABBS) aiming to provide efficient banking services in Nepal. EBL was awarded with “Bank of the year 2006″. It has 35 branches within and outside the valley.

Nepal Bank Limited

NBL is the first bank in Nepal which was established in November 15, 1937 A.D. Approximately, 50% shares is owned by the general public. 99 branches have been providing its banking services around the country. NBL head office is located at Dharmapath, Kathmandu.

Bank of Kathmandu Limited

BOK started its operation in March 1995 with the slogan “We make your life easier”. BOK head office is located at Kamal Pokhari, Kathmandu. Has been adopting latest technologies to keep its customers at ease. It aims to contribute the overall social and economic development of the country.

Nabil Bank Limited

Started operations in July 1984. Its head office is at Nabil House, Kamaladi, Kathmandu. Despite the competition in Nepalese banking sector, it has been able to maintain as one of the renowned banks in Nepal.

Himalayan Bank Limited

Established in 1993.

Machhapuchchhre Bank Limited

Registered in 1998 with its head office in Pokhara. Aims to serve the people of both the urban and rural areas as it is the first bank to start banking services from the western region of Nepal.

Laxmi Bank

Incorporated in April 2002 as a commercial bank. 36% of the total shares is held by the general public.

Kumari Bank Limited

Founded in April 03, 2001 with its head office situated in Putalisadak, Kathmandu. Altogether 22 branches have been established inside and outside the valley. 30% share capital is owned by the public.

Lumbini Bank Limited

Established in 1998, is the first regional commercial bank in Nepal. 34% share is owned by the general public. Its head office is located in Narayangarh, Chitwan.

Nepal Merchant Bank and Finance Limited

Upgraded from a Finance Company to full- fledged Commercial Bank in May 2008. Public Shareholders is 25%.

Sanima Bikas Bank Limited

Established in 2004. General public holds 30% share capital.

Nepal Investment Bank Ltd.

NIBL states, “Our Vision is to be the most preferred provider of Financial Services in Nepal”. Only 20% share is being held by the general public.

Nepal Bangladesh Bank Ltd.

Established in June 1994. It has a network of 17 branches. Its Head Office is situated at New Baneshwore, Kathmandu.
